The Louvre Museum is the 2^nd large museum for its visitors come here. Louvre Palace built 12^th century. It was extended many times. Louis XIV decided to go to Palace of Versailles for his household. in1682. Leaving the Louvre it first time to display the royal collection including from 1692, a collection of ancient Greek and Roman sculpture. France assembly decreed that the Louvre should be used as a museum to display the nations masterpieces. The museum opened with an exhibition of 537 paintings on 10 August 1793. Object collections increase under Napoleon and others France Empire. 

The collections are collect under the care of Egyptian Antiquities, Near Eastern Antiquities, Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities, Islamic Art, Sculpture, Decorative Arts, Paintings, Prints and Drawings.
